Slim it to Win it competition winners update Part 1

As South Africa’s most loved weight loss company, Slender Wonder recently ran a competition that would enable individuals from all over the country to reach improved health. People across the country are struggling with health issues due to obesity-related conditions, so we stepped in to make a difference.

After the initiative was announced, entries flooded in, with hundreds of nominations being received from far and wide. It was a tough call but a group of 13 winners were selected to go on the Slender Wonder programme with our compliments.

This week, we checked in with some of the winners to find out how they are coming along, and their progress is simply astounding!

Leonard Marais (48) in Heidelberg entered the competition with the goal to loose 80 kg and he is well on his way. Leonard, who started at 198,4 kg lost 18.3kg in his first six weeks and his body fat percentage has also come down. “Food prep is now very easy” said Leonard. “I do feel much better already and sleep much better as well. However I still have a long road ahead to get my goal of 117 kg,” he added.

Meanwhile, Newcastle Husband and wife couple Erne (24) and Jurie Koekemoer (27) joined the challenge with their goals being to lose 20 kg and 50 kg respectively, and are also doing extremely well. Erne, who started at 97,3 kg, has already lost 8,5 kg, now weighing 88,7 kg, while her husband Jurie, that started at 222,6 kg is now at 204 kg, having lost 18,6 kg.

Congratulations to these incredible Slender Warriors. You are doing well!

Look out for next month’s newsletter, where we will share the progress of other winners.
